Help Nisus Scotland - Volunteer
We are pleased to have a number of skilled and dedicated volunteers who provide a highly valued contribution to the organisation.
Our volunteers work in a variety of roles including IT Training and Administrative Support. We have comprehensive volunteer policies in place and all volunteers receive initial and ongoing training as well as regular support and supervision.
We currently have a number of different volunteering opportunities available:
- Volunteer IT Trainer Assistant
To assist and provide support to the IT Training staff when teaching groups or individual students with a range of learning abilities and styles.
- Volunteer Administrative Support
To provide administrative and clerical support to the projects of Nisus Scotland.
- Volunteer Network Admin
To support the Network Administrator of Nisus Scotland in identifying and solving problems with servers; correcting minor hardware/software faults;
Support and Supervision for Volunteers at Nisus Scotland
- Volunteers will receive support from a specific staff member as well as the Volunteer Manager.
- All our volunteers are given the opportunity to develop their own IT skills and work towards recognised computer qualifications such as the ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) and ECDL Advanced.
if you have skills which you feel may be of benefit to Nisus on a more occasional level, then please do not hesitate to contact us.
