New Council Advisor
Nisus Scotland would like to offer its thanks to Alison Sweeney, who stepped down from her position as Council Advisor to our Board of Directors at the end of last year.
Alison, an Economic Development Officer within the City Development Department of the City of Edinburgh Council, had carried out this valuable role for several years.
A warm welcome is extended to her replacement Margaret Morrison, also an Economic Development Officer within City Development. The role of Council Advisor is an important one which allows the Council to monitor how its funding of the organisation is put to use.
We are grateful to the City of Edinburgh Council who, through part funding, continues to demonstrate its commitment to the organisation’s aim: to improve the quality of life for members of society who face barriers to training or employment.
