Gylemuir Community Association Goes Bespoke!

In January, Nisus Scotland was approached by Gylemuir Community Association to provide a short 6 week computer course for a group of 12 older learners.

All prospective students stated that they wanted to learn basic computing skills (they had plenty of other ones already) but their main concern was “not to go too fast!”. Quaytech Training, part of Nisus Scotland, obliged by designing and delivering a basic Introduction to Computing course, slowly but surely.

At the end of the 6 week block feedback was extremely positive with all 12 trainees deciding they wanted to continue learning more! They then contracted Quaytech to deliver a further 6 weeks’ training to carry on building their IT knowledge and confidence.

Quaytech Training offers a bespoke training service where course content can be tailored to your organisation’s particular preferences. Courses can be delivered at our premises in Leith or on site at the place of your choosing.

For more information about our tailored bespoke training contact Melissa on 0131 554 5656 or send an email
