Our new name, Nisus Scotland, was officially launched at our 17th graduation ceremony held at Edinburgh’s City Chambers on 2 July.

We were delighted that the Right Honourable Lesley Hinds the Lord Provost of Edinburgh agreed to be our guest speaker and present the certificates to all our graduating trainees.

Councillor Lorna Shiels hosted the evening on behalf of the City of Edinburgh Council. Speeches were made by Iris McMillan, the Chair of Nisus Scotland’s board of directors, Susan Godfrey, the Director of Nisus Scotland and Carolann Roshier, a trainee from the Edinburgh Women’s Training Course.

This year’s graduates include 22 women from Edinburgh Women’s Training Course and 14 men and women from our SummIT course.
