Flex~Ability
Flex~Ability is a free 20 week course for adults with disabilities or health concerns.
Applicants must be unemployed and wish to move into employment, further education or volunteering.
There are 2 courses for students to choose from:
2 day course:
- Students will attend for 2 days per week for 20 weeks.
- Students will study European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) modules and Communications, with additional support to help people move into employment, further education or volunteering opportunities.
- This course runs on Mondays and Tuesdays, 9.30 – 4.30.
1 day course:
- Students will study 1 day per week for 20 weeks.
- Students will study a range of SQA computer qualifications alongside other support to help students move into employment, further education or volunteering opportunities.
- This course will run every Wednesday or every Thursday, 9.30am - 4.30pm.
Additional Information:
Additional support and information will be provided to students on all courses through our links with Further Education colleges, Job Brokers, e.g. IntoWork and other relevant organisations including Careers Scotland.
All Students receive an individual learning plan and will have regular reviews throughout the period of the course. Aftercare will also be provided for students as required.
